About Us

“… offer your daughter a graceful entry into, and positive unfolding of, her menstrual journey as she blossoms gorgeously into a strong and centered woman…”

Jane Bennett

We are here to empower and celebrate mothers & daughters.

What started as a dream is now a reality. With a great desire and passion for unity in diversity we envisioned Girls Tribe as an empowering community for girls from all backgrounds. A new magical thing can happen when women and girls of different cultures unite. It creates a sense of understanding and empathy for one another early on.

Lifting each other up is something we believe is VITAL! So much suffering can be avoided by simply acknowledging each other and our value. We all contribute to the society we live in.

Why young girls? Puberty is a vulnerable time. In our early years, we are more prone to fall victim to ourselves or the world around us. Entering womanhood comes with many changes. Hormonal fluctuations require proper guidance and support to navigate this new phase.
Menarche (first menstruation) can be viewed as an initiation into the responsibilities and beauty of womanhood. Back in the days, these moments were pivotal in a woman’s life and were respected and celebrated. The menstrual cycle was a prime opportunity to respect the cycles of nature and acquire body awareness.

Self-love and all things needed to be able to embrace our wholeness, are a change in perception and can only be pursued with an understanding of who we are. THIS inspires us. This is what we want young girls (all women) to truly feel and hold on to. Being able to embrace our essence, means being able to embrace our power, means being able to put ourselves forth in a fulfilling manner.

Bringing back menstrual awareness — a mission we want to share with mothers and daughters. A sense of unity that allows a beautiful and strong network amongst mothers and daughters of all colors to rise!

Welcome to Girls Tribe! We are opening the doors for communication around menarche. To guide, support and celebrate girls in this magical transition phase.

We are privileged and honored to be in the position of the big sisters we wished we had.
